A look back at 75 years of camp in our diocese
Camp begain in the Diocese of Western New York 75 years ago.
Over the years we've been a lot of places. Here's the list as we know it today:

Camp trivia
We only lost a single year of camp during World War II (the 1943 camp).
Camp Carleton was purchased in 1935.
Campers and staff rode on busses to Thiel College.
In 1979 the cost of Senior High Conference was $79
In 1960 the cost was $30 with $8.50 more if you wanted to ride the bus (to Thiel)
The instructions for the 1959 conference at Chestnut Hill included details on riding the train to camp!
Senior High rising time used to be 7:00AM (so stop grumbling!)
