Camp Staff!
Camp simply could not happen without the great volunteers, lay and clergy,  who work as our staff at each one.  Each year we need a variety of folks to fill roles at all three of our camps.  They include:

Chaplain - an ordained person who has pastoral care for the camp.  They will lead/coordinate all the worship services during the event.  They are also usually our -

Program Leader - this person leads the camp through our contemplation of the camp theme.  (Upon rare occasions the program leader and chaplain are different people)

Senior Counselor - This person is in charge of a cabin or group of campers.  He/she will work with them and be their companion/mentor during the camp.  A Senior Counselor must qualify as a "supervising adult" under the Youth Commission guidelines.  This staff person often has additional duties during camp (check with camp director for details)

Junior/Assistant Counselor - positions at Sleep Away and Junior High camp.  They work under the direction of a Senior Counselor or other supervising adult.  Persons in these roles must be a full year away from participation at the camp they wish to serve AT MINIMUM.  A Junior/Assistant counselor will have additional duties during camp (check with camp director for details)

Camp Nurse - A qualified medical person who can distribute and/or administer campers prescription drugs.  Looks after the well being of all members of the camp.

Music Leader - Usually also a Senior or Junior/Assistant counselor.  Leads music for worship and other times for camp.
